My Pops Forever RIP
My thing is, if you're a fan of a team then you have to hope for the best right, especially early in the season where everything is pretty much equal. How's Tebow working out in NY? There were some Jets fans excited about getting Tebow. But I seen nothing wrong with that because they're Jets fans- that's what they supposed to do. But no Jets fans really went ape shyt on The Coli cause they got Tebow, a few cats were highly optimistic, but you can't get mad at that

Where? :comeon:

and damn near every Jet fan on this board was PISSED when we heard we got Tebow. As soon as we got Tebow I knew this team wasn't about trying to win this year.

The only silver lining some of us had about that trade was that we (meaning I) hoped he'd drive Fez out as QB while not convincing anyone that he'd be the long term answer. The way it turned out, McElroy did that

So then why are you acting surprised that hue got fired ? You thought hue could try out bunch of trades like that and just shrug if they backfired ? I don't get it.
I wasn't surprise Hue got fired. I simply said he needed to get one more year simply because he had the offense looking good. We just needed defensive help. I was mad when he got fired but not shocked. Like I said there was nobody running the franchise when he made the trades at the time right after Al's death but him.

Did you even read that right? I said, "no jets fans went ape shyt(as in happy and excited) when they got Tebow".

Lol, the reaction from Jets fans on Tebow and Raiders fans on Palmer was like night and day.

The general population laughed at both moves.

Jets fans were like wtf is Tannenbaum doing? :snoop:

Raiders fans defended the move as if he'd be worth those picks.

And I'm talking solely about the reactions on :hamster:

That's all I have been trying to say but the revisionist history is at epic levels. I can't understand why they just don't cut their losses and play another QB.

management doesnt wanna admit the mistake that was trade+ contract.
they cant officially fully blame it on hue because that'd mean admitting that they got played by him :heh:

What was the story in Cincy then....108 games and 117 picks for his career.

And if there is no leadership then he has to take some of the blame for that too. They are a young team at the skill positions but so are a lot of other teams....colts, skins

hes not THE main problem. as in if they get a better qb he still wont be doing much better. but hes a part of the problem, ie the trade was awful either way and it was wrong move at the wrong time

:whoa: don't throw stats at me when cinci was trash until he got there plus if he doesn't get hurt that team may make the cup all I'm saying is the slander should be directed at the organization as a whole it's to many holes for him to cover up I'm sure he's up there with most passes thrown In the league this year
