I'll never knock someone for following their dreams but 26 years to make something that teens make within 45 mins of wood shop class.

But I found this

If breh passed already, I hope he's looking down and yelling MAH POINT!:mjcry:

Look at the posts before this one and probably after saying his idea is a complete failure and will flop.

But no, it didn’t.

But now they are cheering for dude.. most people will never believe in you until you make it smh.

I remember hearing about this in middle school (like 07-08 on G4TV) and laughing my ass off - its wild hearing about it years later

I'm saying though :mjlol:

Why the hell did he have to sell everything he had to make this though :dahell:

Literally a table and some balls...what could have costed him his house, his wife's wedding ring, etc.?
That’s a good ass question

I couldn’t find myself to laugh at a black mans dream, however silly, being flushed down the drain.

I know some black programmers that have been trying to launch startups for the past five years. It’s crazy how fast technology evolves, that I don’t have the heart to even tell them that their startup ideas have become stale even after five years, and they need to pivot or think of something new. Just the nature of technology.

Whatever risk you take in this life, find ways to do it without going bankrupt. When you've got so much on the line, it warps your perspective. You can no longer see things clearly because you're stressed out, and you'll miss things that could have otherwise helped you to make sound choices.

This man produced some of the best deep soul driven laughs in history when this first came out :russ:

But a few things:

1. I thought his delusion, commitment and consistency would eventually payoff and the law of attraction would kick in

2. You’re only crazy until it works

3. I respect the man because he took a shot on a dream which 95% in this world will never do

4. I hope he’s doing well, I wish the best for the young King :wow:

I said the same on the original thread on sohh, but I seriously cannot fathom what could have been so difficult in pushing this children’s game forward that cost him so much in the process. It’s a ball and a table. My 6 year old nephew would start rolling a ball back at me within minutes of us sitting at a table and introducing a ball. What in the fukk cost him a house :dead:
