I didn't even see this tag, idk what's gonna be a worse crash this bitcoin dip or the us economy once people stop buying these houses

Lol I already started thread

https://www.thecoli.com/threads/2021-market-crash-thread.849481/

Yeah, they're all gonna go down together. When ppl see their paper stock market and crypto wealth evaporate, they're not gonna feel comfortable making large housing purchases. I shared my theory a couple weeks back

https://www.thecoli.com/threads/is-there-a-housing-bubble.844593/page-6#post-41695910

A sudden, major stock market correction could easily correct the housing market. A lot of buyers are willing to spend more because they feel wealthier (401Ks), but the wealth is on paper. Also, a major stock market correction could lead to homeowners that want to sell rushing to the door fearing an imminent housing price correction (especially near-future retirees) while suddenly potential buyers don't feel like taking that risk. Job security is also highly correlated with stock prices.

Big difference, but OK.
Nah, government gets and infinite amount of fiat that they distribute to you and make you pay taxes on that fiat they print to infinity while at the same time inflate the prices of everything you could possibly imagine buying, all the while the more printing that happens the wealthy get wealthier and poor get poorer, seems like a Ponzi to me.

Suppose Bitcoin falls below 10K. What you think public reaction will be? Everyone will suddenly stop talking about crypto?

nope this thread is proof of how the cycle goes…ppl will still talk about it, just negatively until things go great again…the media plays a huge part in it too…more hit pieces will be put out as the price goes down…but they’ll be encouraging everyone to buy when the price goes up and they’ll put out more favorable pieces…you want to buy when everyone is shytting on it and sell when everyone loves it again…use the OP as a gauge…literally spent 2 years shytting on crypto then became an “expert” in the midst of the latest bull run lol

great thread bump as we look like we may be entering a bear market again…those of you in the market, please read all the “cRyPtO iS dEaD” comments in here and soak it up lol…soon it could be a great time to accumulate…might have to wait a few months (if you’re lucky) but more realistically a few years for it to pay off…2019 wasn’t that long ago and look at these negative comments bcuz you’re about to see them again…the more the better

Crypto is just currency though right?

Isn't the idea that it will stabilize at a certain rate?

To me this would be like picking a regular currency to INVEST IN. Take your life savings and convert it to Japanese Yen...

Don't you basically have the same amount of money as before?

I realize Bitcoin is finding its level and one may be able to capitalize on the exchange rate at particular moments.. but its not a stock or a commodity to be invested in and expected to grow indefinitely

Crypto still has the potential to make folks a ton of money. The issue is so many fell into the trap of thinking all that money will be made instantly.

Folks thought Bitcoin would never get where it is too! Folks don't know anything and you have to have some patience and some smarts!
