i) What raw and advanced # are you looking at?
ii) Regardless of cherry picked stats, it's only been six games and Jabari has already proven over the entire course of last season he was the better player.

:manny:
The only thing parker has on him is PPG, and that's because he's taken more shots and has played more minutes than him.

Randle has the better PER, Win shares despite playing less, WS per 48, net rating, PIE(Player Impact estimate), True shooting, EFG%.

I have no dog in this race, I like both guys, and it's still early, but Randle has been better.

Just relaying the facts. Don't shoot the messenger:hubie:

I'm a Lakers fan and I gotta objectively say ... that I see Nance eventually taking over Randle's minutes. I think for as much as Julius does well, he also frustrates me when he doesn't box out or tries to do too much with the ball. There was a stretch last night where the Warriors scored like 8 straight points in the paint on him. Smh.

Either way though, Lakers are better with them both on the floor.

As far as him vs. Parker ... :francis:

Detractors keep saying that while Randle keeps being productive. Luke just called Randle a monster but Nance is going to replace him? :francis:

Lakers fans should be happy that we have two starting quality PF's on the roster instead of saying that one will replace the other.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Jabari 17.6/6/2.2 on 13.4 shots 49 % and 0.2 blocks per game 0.2 steals

Randle 13.8/8.3/2.3 on 9.6 shots on 59% shooting and 1 block a game 1 spg

Randle's per is higher.

Essentially, Jabari only averages more points than him because he takes 4 more shots to score less than 4 points more than Randle.

How is this even a debate?

Go back to the film room :camby:

Thank you for finally admitting Duncan and LeBron are better than Kobe since they have higher career PERs

Also, Julius Randle is giving up 68.6% at the rim, Jabari is at 64.7% :mjlol:

So you can provide context for why Parker's PPG is higher but can't do the same for all those other stats which favor Randle? :dead:

Regardless if you think Randle has been better of the course of six games, he isn't the better player. Jabari already proved why he's better last season.

cuz he wasnt. Randle finally has a real coach and 6 games in we see how hes a better all around player than Jabari whose been playing within same system and coach.
How would you know anything about Jabari's play when you don't watch the Bucks play? :mjpls:

I mean, I just said we're better with both on the floor. Their games actually complement each other.

This is false. There was a point where the Warriors scored 8 straight points but they weren't all on him. In fact that particular stretch of the game occurred when Larry and Julius were on the floor together

I wonder if you are as critical of D'angelos mishaps on defense as you are of Julius' :jbhmm:

Yeah, and I admittedly wasn't D'Angelo's biggest fan last year so I criticize him harsher than most did.

And I actually think Randle is one of our best defenders since he has shown he effortlessly can switch to guard on the perimeter. But I also think his interior defense still leaves much to be desired. Part of that is just him being a bit undersized but he has a motor so it'll get better.
