"Gerald Green is one of the top 6th men in the league" - @Gil Scott-Heroin
Deny that you said that in this very thread
Gerald Green in Phoenix was one of the best 6th men in the league.
I don't don't support players based on if they win/lose. I still supported Gerald Green all the years he was out the league, and thought he could contribute if put in the right situation - lo and behold the Nets give him a chance and he finds his groove in Phoenix and becomes one of the best 6th man in the league..

Gil-scott watches the Lakers but claims we got options when we got 5 players over 10 FGA a game and no one above 14 FGA. There ain't first or fifth options, the ball moves to who is open, all thanks to LUKE.

And yet Randle is fifth in FGA and scoring, despite playing more minutes than everybody and having more putback opportunities off offensive rebounds.

Randle isn't counted upon to generate offense like Lou Will, Nick Young, D'Angelo and Clarkson (I could see an argument for Randle being above him however) are. Don't be obtuse. Lou Will, D'Angelo and Nick Young are the driving force of the scoring - in term's of importance Randle is clearly behind those three. This isn't even up for debate. Jabari is the clear #2 on the Bucks. This also isn't up for debate.

Only one being obtuse is you. Randle has a vital role on the offense just like all our other players. He's also third on our team in assists and second in PER.

lol @ saying he plays more minutes than everyone. "Randle averages a solid minute more than other players' it's incredible he's only 5th in scoring, where's he an outrageous 2.5 PPG behind the leading scorer". Stop calling anyone obtuse when the only one being obtuse is you. You either have no idea how Luke's system works(which would be ironic since it's very similar to the Warriors system) or you're purposely ignoring how the offense works to push an agenda. :mjpls:

This is what I mean when I say you're being obtuse. Regardless to what degree you want to argue over his importance to the offense - he still is the 5th option (at best 4th).
He's also third on our team in assists and second in PER.
See above.

It speaks volumes that despite him being the leader in minutes and averages more OREB than the four players who score more than him (you know opportunities for putbacks rather than actual FGA that are generated from being a go-to option), he's only 5th in scoring. Clearly there is some definition of options on your squad whether you want to admit it or not. He can't create his own shot or score in situations as well as Lou Will, Nick Young and D'Angelo can.
lit's incredible he's only 5th in scoring, where's he an outrageous 1.5 PPG behind the leading scorer". Stop calling anyone obtuse when the only one being obtuse is you. Clearly math isn't your strong suit. :skip:

Like I said to @CantStop if you're going to argue that there isn't any options on your team (where role players like Randle, career 6th men Lou Will and Nick Young equally share duties with "superstars" like D'Angelo) - practically every single argument you've made in favor of D'Angelo goes out the window. You can't have it both ways.

Randle the "5th" option has a higher PER than Jabari the 2nd option

son yourself brehs

What does that say about Jabari that a "role player" according to you and @Malta has a higher PER than a future superstar according to y'all

Either Randle is that GOOD or Jabari is that trash

Which one is it

If you consider Julius Randle a fifth option on this Lakers team, you dont know what youre talking about. Really that simple.
