Russell better than Booker? Stop it...I ain't too heavy in the Randle vs Parker debate because ultimately it doesn't really matter and it's at least something to have a conversation about. However Booker is a much better player than Russell let's shut this shyt down real quick.
I like Booker. but Russell effects games in more ways right now.

Can anyone show me a stat or any data that supports this? He scored 39 against the Lakers (on a bad percentage aka he was chucking) but he and Russell didn't primary guard each other and Russell had a bad game while his guys shot better and got the W.

Last season Russell had better or similar numbers and this season his numbers are way better. Booker averages more points per game but he plays 8 more minutes per game. Russell still averages more raw production and it gets ugly when you compare advanced stats.

For a 13th pick he is definitely producing but why is he being hyped over Russell?

Only thing Booker has on Russell is scoring and I wouldn't really say it's some huge gap between the two. Hell, as of now Russell is the one scoring more efficiently and more within the team than Booker. :yeshrug:

:dwillhuh:

Booker is the better player right now. Their last matchup was the final nail in the coffin.

That's debatable.

I agree, somewhat. Simply because he is a better playmaker/passer.

:dwillhuh:

He's a better scorer and defender, what are all these other things he's better at besides playmaking/passing?
rebounding

and He's not even that much better than Russell as a scorer. Dude plays almost 40 mins, shoots 29% from 3 and 41% overall and shoots way more.

Rebounding in what way? Neither player has particularly much impact on the boards. Besides unless you're somebody who can actually crash the glass against bigs and/or compete for offensive rebounds (e.g Westbrook), rebounding has basically little-to-no significance on the game when you're a guard. As long as you can hold your own when the ball falls near you - which pretty much all players can do - that's enough.

:pachaha::pachaha::pachaha:

cant be a serious response
In relation to what happened in the 1st quarter and the 1st quarter only, yes it is. Randle wasn't doing anything special to get most of those assists in the 1st quarter. Y'all dudes can't be serious with this lack of reading comprehension.

But please tell us again on how Randle was going to average 20 ppg this season.

the argument was that Julius is a more efficient scorer
Except he's not the more efficient scorer. And don't quote his shooting percentages because i) he takes less shots than Jabari ii) teams still leave him open iii) he isn't asked to carry a main scoring load like Jabari is.

@Gil Scott-Heroin can you comment on this breh. I like Booker but what convinces you he is better than Russell now or in the future? Any evidence?

@Regular_P I've seen you say Booker > Russell as well. Comments?

"PER is the deciding factor" - @Gil Scott-Heroin. It's over for you
No. I'm doing what you do. Picking and choosing when to acknowledge stats. If I feel like I wanna pick PER today, I'mma do that. If I feel like I don't wanna pick it tomorrow, then I won't pick it.

I'm on that @CantStop wave.
Like you not picking PER yesterday - I'm not going to pick PER today. :mjpls:

13-29's(11-19 in the 2nd half) not so bad:yeshrug:

He's their most reliable player in the clutch.

I thought he should've shot more in that game because he was cooking in the 2nd half.
