It's really not breh. @KOBE is talking outta his ass, ain't nothing new there. Nearly every single bucket Randle scored against the Warriors was a bunny at the rim or a tip in (he hardly ever actually created points for himself) - he scored his points simply by hustling and rolling to the rim. Don't get me wrong, he deserves credit for doing his job but when you compare it to how Jabari scored his points against the Warriors - it's night and day. One was doing clean up work and chip ins, while the other was out there actually being asked to score and hitting shots from all over the floor.

When his highlights drop I'll post them to compare.

I mean shyt even this Lakers fan can see how limited Randle is with his scoring. He's been given a shooting cushion all season long.
I'm gonna need Randle to hit the fast forward button on his jumper development. It kills me how many 8-15 ft gimmes he passes up.

Picture Jabari giving up the shots that Randle gets near the paint. Protecting that FG%.:hubie:

They both count. Except one is scoring MORE points and is displaying a better skillset while doing so. This isn't even a debatable point.

"His assists dont count because *insert bullshyt*"

"His rebounds dont count because *insert bullshyt*"

This dude @Gil Scott-Heroin is under the impression Randle scores 99% of his baskets wide open under the basket with no one close to him on some Deandre Jordan shyt. Yes a man that is arguably our best player, a triple double threat can't create his own shot and needs dump offs to score. Like how stupid is that? Randle can create for his teammates but can't create for himself in Gil's world. Oh yea I forgot when Randle creates for his teammates, they're fake assists.

Exaggeration aside, the majority of his buckets are bunnies or rolling to the rim and getting contact. He's not out there creating for himself on the regular and he isn't generating many points outside of the paint. Compared to Jabari he is very limited in how he scores.

Randle has only taken 27 shots outside 10ft
Jabari has taken 74 shots outside 10ft

That's not Julius strength. So you're docking him points because he's more comfortable at the rim? Randle doesn't create his own shots? Bu Bu but watch the games. He gets more points going ISO 1 on 1 top of the key and lowering his shoulder into his opponent. Real talk, who is this magical person on the Lakers that's penetrating the lane and finding Randle? :mjlol:. Let's look at our lineup... it's not Deng(or Ingram in the 4th) that's for damn sure, Nick Young barely passes the ball, it's not Mozgov :russ: and D' Angelo barely has stepped into the paint all season. Stop making shyt up. :stopitslime:

Of course I'm docking him points when we're comparing him to how Jabari scores. He's more "comfortable" at the rim as you put it, because his skillset limits him from scoring outside of the paint. It's HALF the reason why Jabari is better, because he can shoot from more spots on the floo and can create his own offense in more situations.

Keeping in theme with the Warriors matchups -

There's like 6-7 FGs (12-14 of his 20 points) where he's scoring off other players penetrating the lane and finding him or they're missing and he's tipping it in.
