how can Randle be the better defender when he's worse at guarding the rim, worse at defending his own man's shot, and his team is worse defensively as a whole? shyt isn't adding up.

Jahlil was a poor team defender and it showed in their team defense.
Anthony Davis actually isn't that great of a defender, he's an above average defender but far from a defensive anchor right now.
Jabari is considerably better at rim protection and guarding his own man, if he were poor defensively his team wouldn't be as sound as they are on that side of the floor. Also, Randles numbers are going back up in rim protection, while Parker's are going down
