It doesn't though. People start businesses with little to no capital ALL OF THE TIME, just using sweat equity and getting on the grind.

But I'm sure spending your whole life risking your health playing concussion-ball only to get to play ten years if you're absolutely elite AND fortunate, but with the likelihood you'll never make any money from it in the first place, probably makes a lot more sense.

People just always have an automatic defeatist attitude when it comes to Black people achieving anything that doesn't involve a ball or a microphone.
