honestly if the teacher was discussing something i already knew, whether it be science, world history, trigonometry,etc.
I would bounce. PERIOD. why should i stay there while others have to play catch-up? Free enterprise which was a class i had to take in my senior year, was a class i would always cut. Teacher was an @sshole and talked with a lisp. still wound up passing his class with a B+

You didn't know everything

I was looked at like a goody-goody in high school but that meant the hall monitors didn't give a fukk when I bounced.

My damn high school would fail you if you were counted absent six days at anytime in the year, and if you were gone for more than 15 mins they'd write you up. shyt was trash, every now and again tho, i'd skip 3rd and go to all 3 lunches.

Middle school was the shyt tho, cus they didnt count absences at all, I skipped every friday for like ever, until my school called my moms and told her that I hadnt been to school on a Friday for a couple months.... that was my ass man

Me too, I got board suspended senior year for cutting.
That was the last ass whipping I got. My American History teacher
was on stage during graduation and he handed me my diploma
and told me I almost didn't make it.

I don't know about hall passes but they could've been helpful dodging during hall sweeps. But sometimes if you walked confidently enough past security and administrators they wouldn't say anything.

At one point, I just started saying fukk it to them and just started walking out of school.

i didn't cut class in HS until the last marking period of senior year..at that point i signed off on my full scholarship offer...got 3.95 GPA 3rd marking period..getting all types of academic awards...i didn't care anymore about GS...i used to cut class every now and then...get some bacon pizza slices at the nearby bowling alley and play the arcades there until i had to catch the bus..i was ...security knew me and knew what i was about so they used to turn a blind eye to me coming and going..still got a high honors GPA and aced all my final exams
