I don't even think Renee was being honest about sucking at commentary. I think she was fishing for likes and for all those wrestlers to come to her defense and some of them read so cringy. Nia Jax called her an amazing unicorn and Seth Rollins continues to be the most disingenuous phony wrestler on twitter

They could have just kept her doing the interviews and shyt, she was awesome doing that. Not against having a woman on the commentary team at all, I just think they're wasting Renee doing that. Backwards IMO.
Renee is at her best as a reactionary or a facilitator so to speak. she comes off like the likeable next door neighbor so heels talking slick to her is a good way to generate heat
She was great on talking smack interviewing wrestlers in a looser environment or when Nakamura was trolling her backstage. Her
reactions when he’d magically forget he spoke English are where she’s at her best.
Some folks don’t do well being fed lines and such, they need to be able to just react to what they’re seeing
