I envy the time you'll have. I companioned two senior cats back to back. Gave them as much good as I could muster for their final years. Still miss 'em. Can't deal with the heartbreaks.

I would love kittens but every time I go to the cat sanctuary I drift to the oldies who would need the most love. If I could save them all I would.
