Higher Learning is oversaturated with political threads instead of interesting general information. There are five or so posters who flood threads with their biased opinions and oversaturate the entire forum with political articles that support their views. I believe many posters avoid Higher Learning altogether for this reason (including me).
Maybe we could make a Politics subforum to separate political discussions away from broader Higher Learning topics like Physics, Psychology, Biology, Economics, Computer Science, Astronomy, etc.?

Yea, but at least there's variety. TLR's problem is not so much the posters as it is the Mods. They stay featuring the troll bait topics on the main page which makes a self fulfilling cycle. People want to have thier threads go plat so they pose some troll question like "why do black women... blah blah blah". Adding the acronym "PAWG" or "GOAT" will also increase the chances of it going plat.
So basically the troll threads get the most views and replies due to arguments and then get featured.
Maybe we need a Mod to curate or some shyt.
. I really wish it was better, I would probably ditch TLR for HL.
