We better off staying out of it and working on preparing for the next election in the next 4 years...

Black people are going to bear the brunt of Trump's destructive economic and social policies so it's only natural that the resistance to him should be Black in many ways.

Of course I disagree with John Lewis being Hillary/Democratic establishments attack dog. The lady is right, he is using the Civil Rights capital to do all types of stupid shyt. I also agree that him coming to the forefront of the attack on Trump based on the grounds of the Democratic establishment and the intelligence community and not on the behalf of the Black community is absolutely nonsense. To just outright say he is illegitimate because of some supposed hacking whether real or imagined is nonsense. If he came out and said Trump is illegitimate because he's a white supremacist narcissistic bigot whose policies are going to harm Black people, I would support him fully.

And you're delusional if you think that Black people can send any support or representation to Trump or his people and that the Republicans would ever pass anything to help Black people, when his own platform included national stop and frisk and more mandatory minimums which already gutted the Black community. If you say Trump ain't gonna do shyt different from the majority of US domestic policy, what could Black people possibly stand to gain from his presidency? How is his presidency going to be any better than Obama's?
Trump is not "looking for friends" right now, and the idea that 40 million Black people will someone turn and become Trump's "friends" is uncle tom stuff. White supremacy is not always going to be here buddy I'm sorry to wake you up from that little dream.

At the end of the day, this a moot point.Whether blacks are the face ,the rear or not involved in the opposition to Trump, Trump's policies will negatively effect the black community. His cabinet appointments clearly illustrate that. The smartest thing blacks in America can do as a group, is to start building relationships with foreign governments and start creating a contingency plan to leave the U.S.
So we should wait until he implements bad policy?
