Here's what I'm thinking. We gonna have 3 options or icons. You got the thumbs up, fist , and thumbs down, that simple. (Ok so I just realized that my icons don't show up when I typed them. Apparently the coli doesn't accept outside smiley or text icons. 
)
Of course spread out so you don't hit the wrong one by accident. You can hit the fist bump and the thumbs up together but the thumbs down by itself. The fist bump will be the new dap icon. Change the word dap to that icon. Then you have the thumbs up and thumbs down. The thumbs up is better than the dap. It's like the dap with the half hug add-on. Which is something that I won't do since we don't embrace other men in Harlem.
Let me get back on track. So you got your thumbs up and down based on how you feel about the post. This is just like rep so it's not something you have to think of as a dap. That's separate. But the difference is that it's only worth one point and they offset each other like rep did. Plus it's still ten per day and I'd keep the 30s too. What I'm thinking is to avoid the extra pop up and extra rep page. Although I loved dropping some funny rep and neg comments, maybe having those extra pages is what caused the site to run slower. I'm no expert but I'm guessing more bandwidth being used for extra pages means more data and less speed. So you keep the persons up and down vote tracker on their profile popup only. The post will only show the dap like it does now. It'll suck losing rep comments but we gotta sacrifice to survive. Ok so here's the interesting part. If your up score reaches a certain level like let's say 1000, then you get a coli cash bonus. If you reach 10000, you get a banner or something. Now if you get to -500, then you get your posting privileges revoked for the week. If you reach -1000, you get banned for a month. If you reach -10,000, you get banned for life. That means if 10,000 people think you suck, then you don't belong here. That's just my suggestion. It's open for changes tho.

I would say the banner idea sounds good. My revision would be that once you're deep enough in the red, you're only allowed a certain number of posts per day or per week maybe. Ok I like that. Like a weekly limit until you redeem yourself. I agree with the thread making revoking thing.

Thats basically the one that we had, we had an older version. There was some fukkery w/ the person that owns the rights to it now and who did before (the one who stopped updating/suppoting it n what not)
