Is inflation accounted for in this sheet?
With reparations I can build my own house, pay off my car note, fix my credit score, and take care of my family for a lifetime.
And since I'm not money hungry, 20K a month would be fine with me.

Brehs...

Tax free for life for myself and my descendants

yepTo keep it a stack this would make the most sense because the government is not actually "giving" you anything. Most people who are pro reparations would say that welfare fukked up Black relations so if you just dumped a milly on each Black person a lot of nikkas would simply trick that money off. But if you could open a business and not have to pay taxes that would be huge..

The only downside is non net taxpaying Black people wouldn't get anything.
nikkas in here thinking they're getting 20k a month.
Most people are not serious minded.
They don't take even 1 minute to think about the actual mechanics of how all this would work
They just heard the word and once they understood its meaning they just start fantasizing. Like people do when Mega Mil is high and everyone is buying tickets.
I want a cash payment too, but I am realistic
on so many levels. Most people are not serious minded.

It wouldn't everything is a trade off, but you also have to ask where's the benefit now? The worse road in a city that I've heard been on is the roads in 90% Black East St. Louis. You cross the bridge from Saint Louis and the road gets shytty. How would this benefit predominately black areas in terms of school funding, roads, services, etc.?
And that paragraph explains and takes into account exactly what the breh is saying that you quoted. Why do people keep saying this like we don't have folks already establishing a criteria and proposals of the forms Reparations must come in?
The Economics of Reparations
(PDF) The Economics of Reparations
The 3rd paragraph on pg 336 breaks down the forms Reparations can come in.
It's from a book you didn't read dummy. What is that garbage in the OP
What facebook post did you grab that from, breh
I advise y'all to look deeper into the data on how reparations to those groups were dispersed, and understand the actual value (or lack thereof) brought to those communities. Someone already brought up the poverty cycles in Native communities.
A check is not the answer. And if you're willing to give away the last bit of political leverage we have for 20k...you're a fool and part of the problem
The cost.
