Hey I'm not too informed about Native tribes, but to my understanding they were paid to tribes based on broken treaties and other contracts. Are they being paid for heavy losses casualties in actual battles, small pox epidemic, famine, trail of tears etc?

The link says the class action law suit is for individual Indians tho...individuals who are related to the deceased...seems reasonable... I mean they aren't just giving it to all Indians. These people had estate accounts that were mismanaged by the government.

I never took the idea of reparations seriously and if nobody ever brought it up I would have never thought about it

Then somebody brought it up on TV and I saw all these holes in ever bodies arguments who were against it. Then I see all these other groups get millions for tragedies that were no where near the level of ours, not to mention all these LAWs they setup over time to discourage or prevent black people from financial gain.
