Replacement tv

So my son threw and object at the tv (he is two). Now it has a vertical line on the side. It is a Vizio m series 3d 50 inch smart tv. I had a couple of a years and my warranty expires on may 9. Best buy is tripping and saying it's void due physical damage. I like the tv and I guess I do like the 3d features for me and kids. I can't find a replacement like it unless I want to go all uhd 3d tvs which cost a grip. Any suggestions?

Ps I got for $700 two or three years ago.

Warranties have never covered physical damage - ever. On anything. Insurance usually covers that. (for your future eletronic purchases)

better get a 4k tv for PS4k

Sure, it's not the latest and greatest, but I have a 2015 Samsung JS8500 SUHD 4K and I love it.

I would escalate the warranty issue with best buy first. I know my warranty at Walmart covers physical damage.
Ciggavelli is right. You can pick up a 4k for less than a stack these days. If you aren't in a rush take your time and catch one of best buys deal of the day. I've seen a few pop up for $800 - $900

Offer above me is good, since I've been looking for a couple tv's for a while and that's the lowest I've seen the 7100.

If you don't want 4K but want to keep 3D, the 50 inch Sony 800c is down in price too, $650 or open box for $565 (maybe u can get your hands on a movers coupon from the post office, bring it down to just over $500). I bought the 55 inch.

I say pass. The SUHD line has a 10-bit panel and HDR. With just an 8-bit panel you aren't gonna get the spectrum of colors as the Samsung SUHD line. Spend a little extra. You won't regret it
