He doesn't have much of a choice at this point
You think that defending comparable sized players will be that much of a burden???

That's like Shaq saying, no I won't defend Pat Ewing, I'll defend Charles Smith instead

They prefer to defend smaller players so they can rack up stats

LBJ should've been a full time 4 for the last 5 yrs...esp with players getting smaller & smaller
Ewing and Shaq aren't comparable in size though...

The diff between Charles Smith & Pat is in height, weight and strength

LBJ is bigger than most 4's in the league

AD is the size of most 5 men in the league now. AD would rather defend 6'4 PJ Tucker than 6'10 Clint Capela. These nikkas are not competitive.

DRAYMOND DOESNT HAVE TO SCORE 28 POINTS.

DONT COMPARE A DEFENSIVE SPECIALIST
TO AN OFFENSIVE FOCAL POINT.

It don't matter. If you're the best defensive option to defend that position then you're doing your team a disservice by not accepting the challenge if your coach asks you to.

Ya but when Beastnum came back Pau went back to eating at PF. Like others said its a soft move but TD also did this so :yeshrug:

Pau finished games at center whether Bynum was around or not. He played major minutes at center in the playoffs as well even with Bynum around. TD played lots of center too. AD needs to be willing to significant minutes at center and possibly even start.
