Shouldn't even be surprised at the 'rushing the officer part.' How long have blacks been made into some mythical superhuman beast? There's been studies done where doctors will not prescribe as much pain medication to blacks bc they think the blacks are stronger and need it less. Also, the belief that we are 'naturally' stronger than whites and all this other bs. Couple that with the erroneous belief that most blacks are violent gun offenders and you can see just how cowardly the mindset of certain people is. It's pathetic actually the levels to which someone will go to hate. There was a comment on the shooting that happened at the gas station a few months back where the black guy was shot for reaching in his car to get his id after being told to by the cop. The comment basically said that since the guy was talking to the officer in pain after being shot and pleading with him, he shattered that image that many whites have of black people as mindless savages. Their minds then had to struggle to sustain the lies that they had been fed. It would've taken some impressive mental gymnastics. That's why you see comments like 'he shouldn't have reached so fast' or 'he shouldn't have had a hoodie on.' They have to do that in order to preserve their fragile emotional state. It's the same thing that an abused housewife does to justify staying with her abuser.
This is where Sean Hannity and all the other right wingers and racists deflect by going back to the grocery store footage, pointing out how he "charged" at the clerk, and asking if it was right. Wait on it
