Source - Report: John Laurinaitis Restored To WWE Head Of Talent Relations Role | Cultaholic

WWE has reportedly handed the Head Of Talent Relations position back to John Laurinaitis, nine years after he previously held the role.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Laurinaitis has been put back in the position by WWE and reports into WWE Vice President of Operations Brad Blum.

The WWE Talent Relations department is being split into two areas; talent management and talent branding. The latter of those two will be utilised like a talent agency, booking WWE personnel for appearances, movies, commercials and other third party engagements.

With the split, Laurinaitis' official new title will be General Manager, Talent, and he undertakes his new responsibilities immediately.

There is no report, as of writing, as to how this shake up to the Talent Relations department will affect Mark Carano, WWE's Senior Director Of Talent Relations.

Laurinaitis previously became the Head Of Talent Relations in 2004, when Jim Ross decided to step away from his executive duties in WWE, and stayed in the position until 2012 before resigning, going back to his previous position as a road agent and producer.

'Johnny Ace' also worked as an on-air talent for WWE in 2011-2012, serving as the general manager of both Raw and Smackdown at different times. He has made sporadic appearances on WWE television in the past few years.

Bringing Laurinaitis back to WWE is exactly the same as when NFL or MLB team hire back old washed up cac GM who hasn't done shyt over the past decade, but he's very good boys with the team owner. So hey fukk the progress, let's dive deep back into stagnation :snoop:
