doesnt fit what timeline? already 27 means what?

guess how old shaq was when he won his first ring with the lakers???????? 27

you want to know how old gasol was when he came to the lakers? 27.. want to know how old he was when we won our first two titles with kobe and gasol? gasol was like 28-29 years old.

you want to know how old Lebron was when he won his first two rings? 27-28 years old

So....Tell me again about how bulter is to old at 27... I'll wait

The team has a great situation in front of them. No matter who they pick, they'll be in the right system.

They take Simmons:
Walton is their coach, Russell is a great passer, Clarkson has good vision too. They'd add another one great passer with Simmons. Ball movement would be unreal. Grab more shooters and watch teams scramble everywhere on defense.

They take Ingram:
Russell and Clarkson are already solid shooters, Ingram spreads the floor even more and makes room for Randle underneath.

Keep the picks Mitch.

:laff:

At this Jimmy Butler stanning going on :mjlol:
stanning jimmy? i stan two way players that average 18+ per game at a decent fg%, that can pass well and hit an open 3 if need be.

i dont thin butler is as good as durant offensively. but i would still take that combination of solid offense and very very good defense over a child thats a buck 193 and will take years to get right. even if he ever gets right.

give me jimmy and let the lakers sign durant or another hog like that. we're already back if that were to happen. the hell with waiting for the kids to grow up praying it will be a gstate part 2. if you have options to get mature guys (not old) right now to pair with the kids we have. DO IT. and get these rings NOW. not RING. i said ringS.

now if that aint the case. dont blow the money on old role players. keep that cash and wait until the time is right while hoping your young guns do turn into gstate 2.0.

terrible analogy.

compare butlers age with shaq, gasol, lebrons.

shaq as great as he was didnt win a thing before he hit that age, gasol as good as he was didnt win a thing before he hit that age. we all know how great lbj was, but didnt win a thing before he hit that age.

its something about that age that says "i know what the hell i'm doing. i know how to win at a high level and i know what it takes. i also know how to lead and follow when need be."

stop trying to flip what i said knowing the original post was trying to say jimmy is too old. no he's not.

By the time Russell, Randle, Clarkson, et all reach their potential, Butler would be on the tail end of his prime. That's the time line. Unless you plan on shuffling the whole roster. And why are you comparing Shaq, Gasol, and Bron to Jimmy Butler, and that's not even the same situation, those guys landed on contenders, not the 2nd worst team in the league. :snoop:
