Bulls ain't about to compete for a ship no time soon. Jimmy 27 and if we fluke into contention he'll probably be around 29, 30, or 31??

I'm wit an Ingram for Jimmy rebuild. If Ingram turn into something decent, by the time he ready, bron's reign in the east should be coming to an end

Garpax, do it you faggits

you really think Jerry gonna give up that playoff revenue for 2 straight seasons?...:usure:

I am sure Mitch is going to call Pacers and Kings and they will both decline and he will move on, it's worth a try. But I doubt he is out there and trading it for anyone. The one I am scared about and saw on these reports is Jimmy Butler, I don't think Mitch is this dumb to trade a 2nd for Butler.
hold on. you calling mitch dumb if he were to trade a project ultra thin dude that has a low overall fg% for a guy his height/length in college for jimmy butler?

explain to me how many 2 way allstar caliber players that can shoot the 3, lare in the nba at the SG/SF spots? KL from the spurs...we cant get him period. so who else? there is no one else aside from butler. butler is also athletic and he's not a super thin guy. which means his 220lbs can deal with sf's as well as larger SG's like klay thompson.

let me prove my point. lets look at what butler has done to klay.

Code:
Player G W L GS MP FG FGA FG% 3P 3PA 3P% FT FTA FT% ORB DRB TRB AST STL BLK TOV PF PTS
Klay Thompson 7 4 3 7 33.4 5.7 14.1 .404 1.7 5.4 .316 2.4 2.9 .850 0.3 3.3 3.6 2.1 0.9 1.1 0.9 2.3 15.6
Jimmy Butler 7 3 4 6 39.4 6.3 12.9 .489 1.0 2.4 .412 5.0 6.3 .795 2.3 3.9 6.1 2.7 1.1 0.6 1.7 1.1 18.6

you see that^^^^ you see how jimmy not only shut him down and had him scoring at a lower clip than usual. he had him scoring with a lower fg% and 3pt% while also outscoring klay and having a decent fg% doing it.
thats what a 2 way player looks like. aint to many of these guys in the nba. so if you can get one that isnt 35 already. you better get him. especially if he's a 20 point per game guy.

lets say for fun. the lakers this sumer give up the #2 pick, and get Whiteside in Free agency(not for the max...he aint that good. and jimmy for a trade and some other nonsense personnel.

the lakers starting 5 in 2016-2017 season is

pg-D'angelo
sg-Jimmy Butler
sf-Batum(??)
pf- randle
C- Whiteside

Now if by a miracle we could convince batum to come thru? that would be perfect. another 2 way player that can hit the 3 ball and make a decent pass.

thats 2 great defenders in butler/whiteside, with 1 above average very long defender in batum.

this is how you build a championship team my friends. that group could matchup with anyone in the nba including golden state.

if you get super lucky you get butler and Durant(at SF). that might guarantee us a WCF trip next season. the spurs or cooked. they're old. portland needs like 2 more guys. the grizz are done too. clippers are injury prone and mentally incapable of getting out of the 2nd round.

Why not? MELO plus Whiteside and D Angelo is your new big three.
NO we dont want MELO. and whiteside isnt a big three. whiteside is a 4th option guy on offense and a 1st option guy in paint defense. anyone seeing him as a big 3 guy doesnt know basketball. unless he gets with kareem and turns into bynum 2.0 without the knee issues.

God it must suck being a lakers fan. Y'all really that impatient to be mediocre?

Draft Ingram and let him develop and develop your young pieces with JC and russell and randle.

Such a shame that the fanbase is so impatient that they have to try and win now immediately while they are a long away from rebuilding. Trading the #2 pick is a short term solution to a long term problem.
wrong. you're not a laker fan so you dont get it. the lakers have done this multiple times. this aint new. the rest of yall with known loser franchises dont have any clue how to BUILD a team. all you know is suck for along time get all the picks and wait and pray for them to turn into goldenstate or okc. the reality is this, what if they never turn into that? or what if they do turn into okc(who may not win this year either.) then what? you did all that waiting for a wcf exit. the lakers swing for the fences when they get the chance to. thats by design. but yet usually they wont over pay someone who doesnt have the ability to lead a team.

this is why the lakers never picked up guys the last 2 summers just to pick up guys so they will stay mediocre.

you can't have a team full of children unless you get once in a lifetime lucky and get a gstate team. most of the time that wont turn into a ring. look around the nba at all the young teams. they need a nice mix of vet stars. if they never get them. they will never win anything.

and for the record, the lakers dont build teams for one ring. they build them for dynasties. so yes, give me jimmy butler for the #2 please. a 2 way player that averages 20 pts and can hit the 3 ball, who is a pretty good passer and has some size to deal with bigger 2's and 3's. give me KD at SF right now and whiteside..RIGHT NOW. yes the lakers can afford all 3. that could push the lakers into the hunt right along with gstate.

and yet the lakers would still have russell, randle, larry nance jr. as up and coming kids.

Just like there was no way y'all wouldn't get the 1st pick :mjlol:

We taking Simmons breh, Brett Brown has known Simmons since he was a child because he coached his Dad

See what it feels like to watch the player you want get taken right in front of you, like y'all snatched D'angelo from us last year :umad:
go ahead and take simmons and do what philly always does to their players. make them turn into losers.

That would be the right move :ehh:

Lakers got too many young players anyway. They need a superstar veteran presence. A go to guy.

Piling up draft picks is never a good recipe. Just look at Philly :francis:

I would go for Durant or Paul George if possible and please stay away from Cousins :scusthov:

ingram is my first and only choice... plugged him right in at the 3... dude isn't afraid to shoot and defend...

he just have to get his weight up, however the nba have great strength and conditioning coaches that will help

i'm not a randle fan period.. dude doesn't like to play in the post and always make bad decisions with the ball.... russell is ok but with his off the court shyt i'm not opposing of traded him for a under 25 year-old guard
randle isnt a post player like that. he can get down there but he aint super long nor tall. and answer this. how many times do you see draymond green posting guys up? you rarely do. randle has to get better with his decisions. but he also needs better teammates to move in the right spots and properly spread the floor.

the game has changed. i'm a post up guy myself. but i even know the game has changed with this rules not favoring the post guys. and for the record randle is a double double guy already. as a rookie(dont say he wasnt a rookie. he played a few moments in his first game and was out the rest of his technical rookie season. so you just saw a rookie average a double double. there is nothing to dislike about that.

dangelo cant show his full passing ability until he gets better teammates and the right schemes with everyone on the same page.
