If they really offered him 5 years, 80 mil and he is pushing for more (I hear he wants at least the same deal as Draymond, maybe more) - I would let him hit the open market so he can see what his real value is in the league.

See above.

He's already been offered $80 million in excess. It's just incentive laden. His people want guaranteed.

Draymond's people used TT's original deal as groundwork for his.

I honestly would call the bluff assuming this is true. No way bron leaves again. If he does the cavs will still be a good team

...except it won't be anywhere near a max contract per AAV as the salary cap rises. Do they teach you anything in that pathetic excuse for a public education system in chiraq?
I know this considering the growth of the cap but there is such a thing as ROI. I didn't graduate from a CPS school FWIW.

I don't see how cats can condone this kind of activity by LeBron. It has nothing to do with making the team better, I can see if he was demanding that an outstanding 2 guard got the max. Dude wants ownership to commit 80 plus milly to a backup power forward. They already gave Shump 40 million. This shyt makes no sense. He's just trying to get his agency and his best friend (Rich Paul) more money. It's selfish. First he makes them trade Wiggins and now this. Makes me even happier we sent his ass home without a ring for his city.

why yall keep talking about the max?...that cat aint getting the max...hell, he aint gonna get more than draymond....the bar on his contract is set...besides looking out for his boy's business, he making sure the team aint trying to pull no bullshyt when it comes to trying to win....which is smart...

on a side note: bron is that dude...he has realized the power he has and has taken control over his career....now if he can get some of these other players to wake up and realize it too...
