He didn't even play 30mpg

:childplease: Tristan Thompson isn't even close to being the best rebounder in the league. He's ranked 5th for offensive rebounds, but he's not even in the top 20 for defensive rebounding & ranked 19th for total rebounds. He's also 26th in the league for rebounds per game for 2014-2015. And his total career rebound average is only 8.4 RPG. Plus, he has no other skills outside of rebounding, which is why it's stupid to pay him max dolllars. You Cleveland fans are over hyping TT when it's clear that he's just an average rebounder at best

This looking out for your friends first stuff is great...but as the great Kobe Bryant said "rings > friends." All I care about is how the Cavs overpaying TT impacts their ability to win a title. If it hurts it, then Bron's a fool for doing this strongarm shyt.

How exactly would it hurt it? What would be the difference in paying him $10 mil or $16 mil a year for the Cavs in terms of competing? They are well over the cap already without his deal.
