But obviously if he refuses to play in games then he will be suspended with just cause and then he will not get paid

well, he can easily say he’s hurt/injured or in pain : they can’t do nothing bout that = he’ll get paid
the Browns are just fukking stupid. They might as well just trade him and get it over with = they can’t win

The Browns have no hope as long as that Watson contract is on the books. It would be idiotic for them to hold onto Garrett.

He's a 29 year old defensive lineman heading into his ninth season. It's not unheard of for DEs to age gracefully but he's at the age where a decline is likely.
