It's time for Bulls fans to justify this "he's running players into the ground because he plays them 40 minutes". Are you children? Did you just start watching this sport since 2010 when the Spurs way took over the league? What is it?

Butler is averaging 41.5 MPG in the playoffs so far. Cool. Jordan's career playoff average was 41.8 MPG, Kobe's is 39.3 MPG(lower mostly due to the fact he came off the bench his first couple of years, his playoff high was on a title run was 43.8 MPG), Lebron's career playoff average 42.5 MPG. This is a SOFT ass trend that has started in the league and had made certain fans unbearable. Players don't break by playing 40 plus minutes per game in the playoffs, that's what STARS are meant to do and it gives their team a FAR better chance of winning the longer they're out there on the court.

Fair enough if it's a guy like Noah and he's coming off an injury or even Rose who clearly shouldn't be playing that much, but some of yall need to jump off of Thibs because he likes playing one of his best players a lot of minutes because it used to be a common trend for about 70 years of basketball.
Justify why Thibs isn't playing Niko this postseason with Noah being horrible?

Pettiness is going to send a great coach out of town and the Bulls will end up going back to mediocrity. All they have to do is talk to him about managing minutes and they should be good. Other then that Thibs has been everything you want in a head coach and they are going to be fools if they let him go.
:heh:

You really think the Bulls would be mediocre with the amount of talent they have without Thibs?

Prior to this season have you not seen the Bulls roster...especially with Drose being out.

Bulls FO already don't have the best reputation, if true this wouldn't be a good look
I'm full aware that he's good with bum rosters.

That's why maybe he's better suited for a bum team that he can build up and pat himself on the back and say, "I turned things around here". What does he do with the best roster he's ever had here though?

I agree! I think a young rebuilding team would be his ideal situation. But when he took the Bulls job, that's basically what the team was. They had a couple of 1st rd Ls but they were on the come-up in the midst of building around D-Rose

And the Bulls haven't been healthy this season. Thibs is known for his defense but him and his staff are underrated on the offensive end. Pau basically had a career resurgence and look @ the season Jimmy Butler had.

I assume by this uppity post you do? :comeon:
Somewhat, yes. My brother covers Bulls games for the AP

He doesnt like talking about behind the scenes stuff (not sure if its journalistic integrity or something) but he doesnt paint a great picture of Thibs and neither do any of the beat writers.

All Im saying, lets not just assume Thibs is some glowing person who everyone likes

Might be a reason it took dude 20 some odd years to get a head coaching gig

The roster the past few years with Rose wasn't really a playoff team. Thibs was just that good and got the most out of his teams. Rose is suspect Noah is already 30 and probably declining. Pau is getting older and cant be expected to produce like he did this year for that much longer. They are hanging on as a semi-elite team by a hair and Thibs is the one who puts them over the top t me.
