I just don't see an ideal situation for him right now

That may change tho

Would phil coach the knicks?

Thibs locked in with the bulls

I can't see him taking the indy job

Will he coach the clippers?

Okc might be open for him

Can't see him and pat riley with each other

Or maybe the lakers right they wrongs and grab him

Plenty of other teams would take him and I'm sure if teams like minny, portland, brooklyn etc felt they had a legit shot at him they would come running

But we all know phil wants a spot that's ideal. Maybe some things fall into place this off season.

:pachaha: opportunity is perfect

Del negro is on the last year of his contract,Phil can stay close to jeanie and stay in L.a. the clippers have mad talent and most importantly he can son jim buss by leading the clippers to the finals while the lakers fade to bolivia :whoo:

I respect what he did because of his résumé but I still want him to take a struggling ball club and turn them around.

The Bulls and Lakers were struggling teams, they were struggling to win the championship and Phil took them over the hump. Also look at the Kobe Bryant led Lakers, they were crap with Smush and Co. Phil turned them around and almost 3 peated with them.

Exactly, struggling to win a championship. No bottom of the barrel teams. Bulls made the playoffs the yr before Phil came in and the Lakers still made it to the playoffs and got beat by the Jazz with Karl Malone and John Stockton.

I don't see any rings on Smush or Kwame's fingers

You didn't say bottom of the barrel teams, you said struggling, there's a difference. Those teams were struggling to win and he took them over the hump, no more struggles. Doug Collins couldn't do it.

Yeah because they were part of them problem. You don't keep the same struggling roster and expect to win a championship. :rudy: you fix your roster to a championship level. Phil took a struggling team that missed the playoffs and helped turned them into back to back to back finals teams.
