I did indeed admit that I found it funny. Don't remember making any jokes though. Can you quote the setup or the punchline?
I asked the question because, If you had admitted that this was a good way to die, that would mean that finding humor in it is unwarranted and therefore inappropriate. But you didn't answer because you agree that this is embarrassing due to the fact that people can find it funny.

He didn't choke on an egg. He couldn't hold down solid food yet so his body rejected it as it was too weak and the vomit filled his lungs. What is funny about that? This is a common cause of death for people who are heavily intoxicated like alcoholics and drug addicts as well as the elderly etc.

TMZ reported he choked on an egg for sensationalism/click-bait because he's black and whites in general think less of us so taunt us for no reason, hence the false headline.
