It's wild how people seem to have huge lapses in memory when those memories contradict their favorite new conspiracy theories. Before Covid, in my state alone there were major stories about athletes collapsing on the field every year. Sometimes it was exhaustion/heatstroke or dehydration, others it was an undiagnosed heart condition. But the antivaxxers are hellbent on pretending they've never heard of this phenomenon before as if they didn't know being a full time athlete actually causes a lot of physical stress on the body.
