nikkas in the thread from opposing factions debating over Aristide and Papa Doc :pachaha:

This is also another element of Haitian tradition..... Debating over leaders and their flaws/mistakes.... None of our leaders were perfect and thats fine..... the only thing we can do is learn from their mistakes, do better, and move forward.

Theyre still our tribesman.

Every single Haitian leader for the last 200 years has dirt on their hands and skeletons in their closet.... the story of Jean-Baptiste Sans Souci illustrates the spirit of Haitian leaders and where the mentality came from.

Jean-Baptiste Sans-Souci was a leader of rebel slaves during the Haitian Revolution. He was assassinated by rebel leader Henri Christophe in 1803. Sans-Souci is notable as one of the most effective military leaders during the revolution. Sans-Souci, as well as many of his followers, were born in West-Central Africa.

Sans-Souci controlled much of northern Haiti's mountainous regions and emerged as one of the most skilled rebel leaders, using guerrilla-style military tactics that were common in the wars of his homeland.

Sans-Souci was hostile to Henri Christophe and was not happy to take orders from his former enemy.

Dessalines sought to resolve the conflict and Sans-Souci seems to have agreed to accept Christophe's authority but Christophe still decided to dispose of his rival, and invited Sans-Souci to a meeting where he was assassinated on Christophe's orders.[13]

Later on, as king of northern Haiti, Christophe built a luxurious palace called Sans-Souci. Its name may have been chosen, in part, in an attempt "to erase the memory" of his deceased rival. :dead:

Looks like the suspected Latinos are Colombians.
According to the video below you can see Colombian passports on the table
.

How did the PM know they were Colombians before they were even captured ?

Above the fray.
fukk all these useless corrupt Black leaders..

South Africa just jailed former President Jacob Zuma to 15 months for contempt of court over his corruption hearings.

We needed both that assassination and imprisonment to send a clear message to Black leaders..
Thats your emotion speaking, just like the comments you alluded to in the last post from other forums.

Assassinations set countries back even further. For all the coup d'etats and attempted hits in Haiti's history, I believe this was the first assassination of a sitting leader in over 100 years

This is interesting because the week after those kidnapped nuns and priests were released, the govt. brought in a Colombian anti-kidnapping tactical squad to instruct the Haitian police.

The rationale, at the time, was that Colombia was the kidnapping capital of the world until they developed ways to prevent and combat it.

Very interesting that the suspects are Colombian.

The plot thickens.

"Late Thursday, Colombia’s government said six of the suspects in Haiti, including two of those killed, were retired member of Colombia’s army, though it didn’t release their identities.

The head of the Colombian national police, Gen. Jorge Luis Vargas Valencia, said President Iván Duque had instructed the high command of Colombia’s army and police to cooperate in the investigation."

This shyt makes me look at all these third world Presidents security funny. I remember The President of Kenya has driven himself one deep multiple times

I used to live right near the Dominican white house and walked past it everyday. I was low key surprised that they had random houses that were used as Airbnb's that ANYONE could rent and see the President move around. Yeah he had security but I used to work at the US chamber of Commerce across the street from the white house and if you went on the roof you'd better tell the Secret service because they had 24 hour sniper security and even when pointed out to me the obvious sniper hide on the white house roof I still could barely see them and needless to say there was 360 sniper protection and I couldn't see the other ones. There probably wasn't snipers at the Kenyan or Dominican white houses because they had small buildings around them.

That being said there was some distance from the Kenyan residence from random houses and as far as I know you couldn't rent an Airbnb near there and the street was partially blocked/ guarded. That wasn't the case at the Dominican white house.

In Dominican Republic the president doesn't live in the "white house". His residence is somewhere else in an upscale neighborhood, which is actually even worse. But that is the case in every latin american country.

A few years ago, there was a hilarious scandal, that several neighbors of the president were robbed and tied up by heavily armed men in their own house. Imagine living right next to the president of the country, and getting robbed and tied up at gunpoint :mjlol:

Drug Trafficking Related? I don't see how it wouldn't be for Colombians to assasinate the president. But I don't know shyt honestly, all I know is that haiti & dominican republic is one of the major hubs and routes for colombian cartels.
