I was watching Questlove's documentary on the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival, they were talking about the assassinations that occurred in the 60s, they showed the Kennedy motorcade (but not his brains being blown out), they showed Malcolm X laying dead on the Audoborn Ballrom stage, then they showed the Robert Kennedy assassination in LA, again they only showed the commotion, but not the gruesome corpse or actual killing.

You cannot be seeing images of people who look like you in that state and not think it's gonna have a subconscious effect on you.
Which is why they didn't show neither of the Kennedy boys' dead bodies, but they showed Malcom X's.
