breh my older brother used to have an old from 90's azanian rap group cd from cape town that i forgot the groups name just can't remember but it was 3 guys i think one was lightskin one had short dreads the third

The equivalent of hip hop in South Africa is Kwaito. Unfortunately its on the decline and the American sound has taken over, with people naming the subpar stuff that comes out "South African hip hop" (wtf?)
