If I had it my way, a republican like this guy would run as an independent. That way it'll split the republican vote into 2, making it easier for the dems to win

He’s clearly doing this to damage trump leading to the general election
I read somewhere that Weld was already polling at 14%. Walsh wont get more than weld (if thats true)

14% is actually good.... i hope that walsh gets that much as well.... look, trump won by 77K votes spread across three states... we just need to erode that much support.... i don't know that an incumbent has ever lost the nomination due to a primary challenge, so i'm not expecting trump to lose the nomination either... i just want him weakened so that when he goes into the general the democrat can just pick him off....
