we have no leverage with republicans

we have A LOT of leverage with democrats

Clearly not if you said earlier that we been voting for them 50+ years and nothings happened. A lot of blacks barely voted last election and Hilary still won the popular vote. The misconception is thinking we have so much leverage. There's a lot more black republicans since Trump's been in office. This country is so damn dumb that there's black and latinos Trump supporters even with all the overwhelming racism coming from that administration/President. We don't have much leverage. We're losing this race, and will probably lose completely if we don't stand by Dems with the little leverage we do have left.
