This is going to be practically a new game. You can't effectively "remaster" a PlayStation 1 game without overhauling the game's visuals and mechanics.

Also Capcom has Street Fighter V dropping next year as well as that Deep Down game. Also you know RE7 is being made soo... :many:

This isn't the same as a remastered game brand new game breh...story and premise should be the same tho

It really depends on how you want to look at it though because RE4 was the start of the change in that franchise, but OG RE? Yeah Part 1 is definitely a classic. I finished that on the PSOne without a memory card at near world record time.

Damn sure ain't. I mean it's a great game but the shyt ain't even really Resident Evil to me. And marked the beginning of a terrible trend with horror games.

Hopefully this plays like a survival horror game. I don't need none of that action horror re4 gameplay. Don't get me wrong.. RE4 is a great game, but.. as a RE game..

But the series was changing to something more action based and less horror.

Also Capcom should have gave Onimusha to Ninja Theory and not DMC.

I enjoyed RE5 more straight up because of the co-op.

I just didn't find RE4 THAT good. It was a great game don't get me Wong.
