Resident Evil 2 is the best RE hands down, followed by RE4.

Yep, people have a soft spot for RE4 because of how good the shooting was and it was a great evolution of the series, the tank control were already feeling dated that gen.

But it was the start of the action bullshyt that ruined the series until 7, when it comes to pure survival horror, 2 shyts all over 4.

I always preferred RE2 to RE4 OG versions. RE4 was a great game but RE2 and 3 to me were classics. I'll always have a soft spot for the police station/Wesker's mansion than the locales in RE4.

Tell me you didn't play Alien Isolation without telling you didn't play Alien Isolation. Resident evil 2 is child's play compared to the Xenomorph. But then I think....Maybe that's not fair? It's not fair to compare a cult classic to a zombie game

Buy it and play it tonight. Should be cheap, like $10 - $15. If you have a Xbox series X/S it's better on that system since it plays at 60fps.

When Mr. X showed up in RE2 Remake I dropped the game for almost a year.
When I picked it back up I made sure to complete everything I could so I leave the police station as fast as possible when he showed back up.

The OG Re2 was my favorite PS1 game. The OG RE however still brings the most nostalgia for me. Never played a game like that and it was groundbreaking. Besides it being a horror survival is was also an adventure game set in a mansion.

The remake was great. But I am a big fan of 7 even tho the game kinda falls off after you leave the house. Low-key, 7 might be the most pure horror RE.

I got aound 3/4 through it. The atmostphere was amazing, the zombie killing was amazing, but way, WAYYYY too many fukking puzzles for me that just start to bother me. I prefer a less puzzle heavy game like TLOU 2.
