One small change I like is them making Leon bi in this version. It adds a layer and some dimension to his character in these surroundings.

I basically stopped using kitchen knives after chapter 4. My combat knife is stronger and once you increase durability it last a long time

After chapter 3 I ain’t died at all, but gahdamn chapter 10 with the double garradors was a bytch. Had to use the broken butterfly just to get past that part

got killed by the man-bull in the cabin and almost lost my damn mind

I’m most of the way through the game now and I have the same praise for the island as I did with the castle, they really overhauled the entire area but cut out all of the annoying backtracking and gimmicky rooms while still keeping it somewhat familiar and true to the original.

I’m loving this and when I’m finished this may be my 2nd GOAT RE game right behind Remake 2

Remake 3 while not a bad game looks awful sat between Remake 2 & 4 now
