This one. It's quite challenging where you need skills whereas Remake 2 and 3 are more about understanding the layout of the map.

Re3 wasn’t hard imo

RE2 was kinda hard but that was more the chlostrophic feeling in the dark of having to constantly backtrack in that maze of a police station while never really feeling safe because of Mr x, but the actual enemies themselves weren’t a challenge

RE4 Remake is hard because of the enemies, I get why they had to be due to Leon being able to move/shoot and parry, but they are way more aggressive and resilient than they were before, shyt on professional they barely even stagger even with headshots

On Professional This is the hardest since code Veronica imo

Playing this for the first time since GameCube This is paste way better than two. Wish I had not played until a few months ago. Four was previously the only resident evil game I ever played. I'm getting worked though

Had to slow clap after the jet ski reaches the the peak of daylight. Immersive, amazing experience…Capcom is 2/3 w/ these remakes. Ashley and Leon’s relationship was very much nuanced and fully-realized. Her progression and character arc throughout the campaign was believe-able and satisfying given the circumstances. Leon was a dikk to Luis for the majority of their interactions but I appreciate they at least tried to expand on his role in the remake. Wish we could’ve retconned his death and why was their no blood on Krauser’s blade once he pulls it from Luis? Small nitpick but the game was flicker flames

Just finished Ch 10. Maybe it’s because I’m doing Hardcore but I had to look see how many chapters I had left. This mf just keeps going I don’t remember being so ready for this mf to be over in the OG, and I know they’ve even skipped out on some content. I’m fw it, but I shoulda just went through normal so I just burn through it. I’ll wait until I’m done but give me RE2 over this, same as the OGs

It's funny how Capcom managed to recreate the exact narrative with the remakes. I guess it shows just how well they captured the essence of the OGs.

2 is the best one when it comes to survival horror and short, replayable runs.
4 is the best when it comes to action and being a long, memorable experience.

And 3 is still a rushed, linear fukk-up. Nemesis deserved better.

Went to buy 3 remake the other day and saw its still 40 bucks. Went as low as 15 a few times last year so i wishlisted it.

I heard that shyt is like 5 hours long so im def not sying more than 20 for it

Yea I’m fw that more, but like they been saying I fw the original 2 over OG 4 also. I’ve always been partial to the horror over the action side.

And I fukkin hate the gameplay part of Ashley at least I fw the character this time tho

Resident Evil Village is sadly such a diet version of RE4 that it's really hard to enjoy it as much as I originally did.
