Just finished playing through the Chris Redfield missions on the demo, loving it so far. Seems far better than the horrible mess that was Resident Evil 5.

Supposedly gamers today are too bytch made to play true horror games, so they're making the games more action oriented to draw in the COD crowd.
Man miss being a grown ass scared dude and being stuck(no homillz) on simple ass puzzles
The Leon and the other dudes story seems like they are gonna be the best...Leon's is gonna stick to the RE roots....while Chris who is in like the UN Army for Zombies...i expect his game to be more action packed...

Yea I played the demo over the weekend. ..only Leon's part...lots of things I'm not feeling about this one.. .the overall feel of the gameplay is weak to me.. .what's with not being able to shoot a zombie playing possum unless u walk on top of em? 
and Leon's melee attack gets boring wit that one kick.. .the zombies are boring so far. ...its like it has the RE4 look but not the feel. ...eh I'm not enthused as I was before playing the demo.. .

I gotta disagree with yall, now I know this isn't gonna be the best RE game the demo makes me believe it's gonna be nice!

Leon S. Kennedy is like the classic RE games: This part of the demo had me paranoid as fukk bullets are scarce and you're walking around waiting for zombies to jump out nothing happens until the end.
Chris Redfield is like part 5 all action: I like this, with co-op it will definitely be alot of fun this part of the game will be enjoyed most by fans of RE 5
Jake Wesker is like RE 3: Nemesis: Son of a bytch!!! while it will be fun this part of the demo had me twisted a big Nemesis type fukker chasing you damn near at all times I thought I was safe at times when running around pillars (like running around parked cars trying to avoid a fight) but this big motherfukker crashes right thru them.
while I'll admit melee and the dodge buttons will make this game easier it was ill as fukk for me to run slide into a zombie, knock him down clap the zombie behind him get up turn around and belly to back suplex the first zombie I slid into.

I played the demo in coop. Seems ok, i mean its 2012, the games cant play how they used to. I know its changed, for better or worse, only time will tell.
cmon man, we are all grown men, these games aint gonna scare us any more, I was like 11 played RE2, in the dark, when i was supposed to be sleeping cuz it was a school nite,

Gonna cop first day, I got tons of gift cards for every store to burn.
Im keeping faith that it will be a decent game at least

i don't know about you but dead space 2 legit had me shook
each campaign is as long as chris's in RE5 it's three games in one nikka think about it RE6 could of been just leon then RE7 could of been chris's campaign then Jakes could of easily been RE8

E3 2012: Resident Evil 6's campaigns pack 70-80% of volume in RE5 -- PlayStation Universe
Resident Evil 6 producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi has revealed a few new story tidbits on the hotly-anticipated dramatic horror sequel.
As previously confirmed, the game will feature three unique campaigns: Leon, Chris and Jake, each of whom will be accompanied by a partner character.
For Kobayashi however, former R.P.D. officer Leon S. Kennedy is of particular significance to the story, and it was his [Kobayashis] idea to bring the floppy-haired hero back for RE6.
I really like Leon as a character, he told Siliconera. I also like the relationship between Jake and Sherry and how they develop partners and characters in the game.
"There wouldnt be Resident Evil 6 without Leon because he is central to the story." Meanwhile, a Capcom rep described Leon as the "main main character" in Resident Evil 6. "Of course, you wont see the whole story unless you play through all three characters, he added.
In terms of length, Capcom has said it estimates that each campaign in RE6 packs around 70-80% of the volume in Resident Evil 5.
Lastly, Kobayashi was quizzed on how he felt about Resident Evils transition from a survival horror series to a more action-oriented experience in recent years.
Resident Evil 5 was an action based game, but it had a positive reception. It was good action. We looked at that and the reception we got from that game and also peoples desires for the entire series so far. We really think we got the balance right in Resident Evil 6 with the recent and classic games, he offered.
I don't know if these posts are literally serious or they're just joking because damn RE5 was a damn polished game. The demo for RE6 especially Chris' was just unpolished as hell and lacked fluid and great TPS mechanics period. Even if it wasn't RE I'd still

That's no excuse because nobody asked for a shytty demo this close to release. It's a bad look regardless of it's a old build or not.
Even if the camera, controls and overall flow of the game was tightened up this shyt is STILL not Resident Evil. Chris's part is more like Gears of Evil: Modern Residents 6.
basically, only section that felt similar to resident evil was leons, and even his felt more like a movie than an actual resident evil game.
