The 4/5/6 trilogy is being released throughout the rest of the year ported to next gen systems in 1080p/60fps.
They're releasing in backwards order, with 6 already out, 5 coming at the end of the month and 4 sometime in Fall.

I actually don't think its that bad.
Just make sure its the current gen version...the fps dropped to sub 30 on the PS3/360

I played the Demo before it got released and likes Leon's parts and didn't mind Chris Redfield's parts too, but since you didn't know much about this game up to now, you should know that a solid portion of fans and others hated the fukk out of this installment.
It's all over the place with the Gears of War parts (Chris Redfield gameplay) and other shyte they were whinging on about, but if you like RE like me and didn't mind 5 too much, you should give it a go.
Might cop these new ones coming out for the current console even though I got 4 to 6 in a box set for the 360 already. I'm going to give 6 a go and form my own opinions on it.

You take away the resident evil name and you have an action packed, very entertaining game that offers the entire campaign as local or online co-op.
Very few games let you run full speed in one direction dive on the ground slide and mid slide do a 180 to shoot the enemies chasing you. There's a ton of moments I had where I was like "man I can't believe I just pulled that off". Its fun. But a traditional RE game it certainly is not

Its not as bad as re5 and a bit underrated. Its not a good game tho, it just has a lot of content and a great mercs mode.
plus your left with justt more answers then fukking questions, the writers cannot write a cohesive story for shyt..

RE6 was average as fukk compared to 5 & 4, I think the biggest problem it had was each story for the 3 characters was too long, if they trimmed a lot of that fat it would be solid but each character has at least 1 chapter (out of 5 if I remember?) that will bore you to death, and a lot of the time it's just way too over the top...also the vehicle segments are some of the worst you will ever play lol. Like someone else said they tried to do way too much and failed.
it's not completely horrible just a massive step back, only play it if your a big RE fan in the first place imo

the whole co op thing ruined all of the suspense I think 4 had, yeah I had fun playing through it with a friend but it was too much of a sacrifice for the survival horror aspect, you never felt up against it like in 4
