I hope they prove nikkas wrong and make a classic open world horror game. I envision horde breakouts where if you do actually find a working vehicle there will be times where the zombies are so densely populated simply driving through them will cause your whip to break down and then you're fukked because there's far too many zombies to shoot your way out of.

This way it's still "technically" open world but you must strategize movements if you want to survive. It can certainly be done. Never tell creators what they can or cannot do; imagination is a motherfukker :ufdup:

Dead Rising is goofy as fukk, I don't enjoy those games. A Dead Rising with a serious tone and game mechanics, however, sounds fire and I'm all in. So basically yeah, A Resident Evil version of Dead Rising doesn't sound appealing to you?

Idk resident evil has been trying to remix zombies for like 3 decades…it will be intersting to see how they do it

According to capcom they are only expecting 8 million in software sales for the next fiscal year. Which means no Resident Evil 9 until at least after march 2026
