The game is a definition of a classic and replayability is through the roof. You'll be able to play the game four times and there will be noticeable differences in each scenario. I wish I could play RE2 blind again. The game is just amazing. :ohlawd:

I think it's the same shyt. Remake and Remaster.

The Resident Evil 2 remake is happening

They said that REO and RE1 were remakes when they were just remastered in HD.

Nah

thats the original re1 released in 1996

thats the 2002 remake. they took the base game and used it as a design document, but had to recode everything because they had to make it in 480p. the ps1 wasnt ever capable of that so they had to redevelop the game for all intents and purposes.

this is the hd remaster released last year. Its literally the same game as the 02 one, but with higher resolution and framerate.

the differences from 96 to 02 added many more areas, rearranged alot of things in the game and added new content such as lisa trevor. The hd remaster only added things like new control scheme and cloud saves.

this is re2, which, like the 96 version of re1, cant be upres'd into either 480p or HD. Theyre gonna use it as a design document and remake the game from scratch like they did in 02 with re1. The websites youre seeing them use the word remaster just dont understand the sublte differences in the words. A remake is literally remaking the game from the ground up. Remaster just takes assests and updates them.

Yea I found another site that confirms the remake:

Resident Evil 2 Remake is built from the ground up, not a remaster – Capcom

Can't wait.
