This thread started off good but nikkas get in they feelings too easy. Some real stupid posts on both sides.

It’s not that hard. Nigerians, Jamaicans and Americans all have a superiority complex when it comes to other black people.

In my experience what makes Americans different is they feel they had it the worst. When in reality the white man committed the same atrocities to us all.

The white man uses his resources (media & entertainment) to protray diasporian black people as lazy, immoral, unintelligent, hypersexual, violent destructive animals on a global stage. That includes Africa.

So when Nigerians come to the Uk and the Us with negative opinions on Jamaicans and Black Americans it’s because negative images are all the white man has shown them. Just like the rest of the world. And this shyt is happening as we speak.

It’s tribalism, we’re too proud and arrogant to focus on what makes us the same instead of what makes us different. OUR enemy knows this and has used it against us for hundreds of years now.
You not tired of this shyt?
What's wrong with a superiority complex? If I think I am better, smarter, more capable than everyone, what's the issue with that? We do that as athletes, you think I want to acknowledge another nikka is better than me. fukk outta unless it's all said and done for my career but not while I am a competitor.

I wish more nikkas had a superior complex interpersonal wise. What I hate is c00nery and buffoonery. I hate if a nikka is like, Igbos are way better than XnX. I hate that shyt. You need to prove you deserve the accolades you putting on yourself. I hate that, Merica is the greatest shyt. This country doesn't even have basic healthcare, infrastructure is lacking, and education system is garbage unless you live in the right areas, nothing brag-worthy about working 40-70 hours a week unless you someone like Richard Spencer who's making 1.5 million a year based on his slave inheritance land off the backs of Black folks.

To me, the superiority complex is a good thing. I want nikkas to feel like they are the best. Why not nikka?

I'm not the biggest fan of OP, but as an ADOS/Black American -- I have never felt or thought any African (Nigerian, Ghanaian, Kenyan, South African, etc) was docile or anything else negative.

Anyone can see that no matter the country Africans have fought and continued to fight for their people, country or tribe.

On the point of ADOS having White folks help, I really can't agree. From day one on this soil, all our ancestors had was themselves - you can see that by seeing how long they we're enslaved up to our current state.

Of course, a small percentage of whites (while still being racist and white supremacists) looked away or may have support our ancestors/family - but it wasn't out of kindness, support or acceptance - they had their motives/reasons - mainly self-serving. Meaning, they needed someone to work for them, they wanted sex/abuse, they wanted to use them or their causes --- or for some other reason.

Everything we have today was fought for by our ancestors. From our ancestors fighting in the USCT and maroons to free themselves and their families/friends. Whites front like they fought to free our people - but nah. They fought for other reasons - our freedom just came with it.

Hundreds of thousands of Black American/ADOS lives lost from Emancipation to now.

Lost through violence and terrorism. As well as stolen, tricked and just taken resources, land, money, benefits.

I am not well-versed on Nigeria - but I am sure you all have a similar story - even with other Nigerians running the show. Basically, a white hand rules your country behind the scenes - and the Nigerian faces in charge benefit - in determent to the population.

The SAME can be said about ADOS in America hence why we are fighting to take control and be the voice - and remove those who are not for and working directly for us.

Basically, my main point is don't let anyone (including Black Americans/ADOS) make you question or feel like you have to explain the strength, fight and perseverance of your people, country or tribe.

From the OP and my limited understanding of Nigeria, it seems like it will be a tough nut to crack.

With regional, ethnic, religious and political differences the challenge seems to be making sure the established government works to benefit everyone in the country. The simple solution would be to divide the country into separate states closer to how it was pre-colonization. I know wars have been fought over this and those in power have no incentive to divide the country in a way that weakens their advantages.

I really don't wanna get into this. I am also not a John Brown fanatic/stan. I will give respect to him for what he did - I will say that. But, that's it.

I am sure a very small percentage of whites were supportive in some capacity - but it's not worth mentioning nor did it lead to any change in the grand scheme of things. Our ancestors led the charge and followed through on every right we have today -- EVERY ONE.

Again, I am sure it's similar stories in it's own way. I am sure a very small percentage of Whites who visited or worked in Nigeria and with Nigeria's resources -- didn't want to be all the way demonic and maybe wanted to help Nigerians.

But the majority of Whites and non-Blacks -- wanted to be demonic and parasitic to use, abuse and trick Nigerians and their vast resources for their gain --- and I'm sure they continue too. We just don't see them - as I'm sure they recruit a Black face to do the work.

The issue is WHITE PEOPLE and WHITE SUPREMACY.

I can't really say anymore -- because I don't really know the history or current state of Nigeria -- and I am not Nigerian - so I don't wanna present anything like I know -- cause I don't. We can only listen and learn from those who do.

Do they not show solidarity?
That is one of the if not the BIGGEST criticism. There are too many out here who feel because they're doing okay that black americans are making excuses. They dont recognize that their success is often used as a cudgel against black americans. And when you do see some pro black nigerians they are usually a part of blue check or shea butter Twitter on some 'black men are toxic ' shyt

You're giving the OP too much credit--much more than this joke of an(excuse filled) thread deserves; as he has often parroted many of the egregious, elitist, Anti ados themes you are citing, himself.

Pro Black Nigerians or Africans aren't in the shea butter twitter clicks at all. No one in those clicks is pro-Black. This is a lot of generalization.

Lol I agree with you my g, if you dont feel like you’re superior no one else is going to.

My post was about the dynamic it creates among us.

To add on a point, the military in the United States does not regularly get deployed to murder American protesters.

In Nigeria this is common. I did not say that white people put significant footwork in to create civil rights. What I said was having white people on the ground and the culture of protesting being accepted prevents the military from just shooting everyone down one by one.

In 2020, this is what is happening to people who date to fight the government in Nigeria. So the risk vs reward of activism in the US and Nigeria are totally different.

Does not take away from the achievements of black Americans but refutes the assumptions that Nigerians should just "fight".

Serious question.

Is there a possible end to the inter-tribal conflicts in Nigeria?
