I don't want this to be some gun nut bullshyt, and i'm left wing, but privately I want to be fukking strapped up and if you come in my house you will catch an armor piercing brutal fade

this is for coli members with legal weapons so we can talk about shyt and learn how to protect ourselves and keep it legal. even tea party cacs like a person that protects themselves and their family

right now i rock with an xm-15 bushmaster
Ac455rZ.png

but really I don't have a use for it. To be honest im concerned about shooting off .556 armor piercing nato rounds in my neighborhood cuz i don;t want my neighbor to get fukked up if shyt should pop off. I live on the water and recently this dude got tied up and they made him unlock a full sized safe. :whoo:. The cops questioned me about it after i rolled through a stop sign :beli:.

If you pop up in my crib i will make your body look like it just ran through fukking hole puncher

anyways, anyone here carry? tomorrow im going out and will decide if i'm going to get the smith and wesson bodyguard or the hi point 9mm carbine for home defense. i really like the .380 because of how small it is but the carbine is incredibly accurate

hdn6TDC.jpg

it is smaller than your wallet. i work at a large property and at night the other day some dude was trying to break in. I would've had to tussle. I don't want to rumble with a meth cac with a duffle if he won't back down...I'd much rather prefer him getting dropped....no worries in my state

anyways, anyone here grown up around guns? I feel like responsible black gun ownership is an extremely important issue and can close gaps and also significantly help reduce crime

Get some good soft points for your AR. We're not restricted by crappy ammo rules set by the Geneva Convention, so don't bother with the green tip NATO crap.

Don't get the hi point. They're cool for cheap range toys but I wouldn't trust my life with one. You'll want at least a 9mm with some good hollow points if you're dealing with meth addicts. Read up on your state's self defense laws as the system is NEVER on your side.

yeah, I would never purchase a hi point but read up about their carbines. extremely reliable. I'll probably own S&W bodyguard soon enough because where I work the only person that's going to know i'm strapped is the security guard from trinidad...the main catch is if i kill someone without a ccw i'm meant to have permission from the owner to hold a weapon but i manage over 8 acres alone at night....the other night i dealt with a meth cac with a duffle trying to get silly and it made me think about what i'd have to have done if the gate wasn't locked

i live in florida and the laws are very generous in regards to self defense. castle doctrine and stand your ground law

Anyone in NYC carry legally? The laws here are so strict you can barely carry a knife so must of us didn't grow up with guns.

I'm looking into a business conceal carry permit for my fam. I see the application fee is about $350, but I'm wondering about the process, how long it actually takes, if you've ever had any trouble with the NYPD, what models you're holding, etc.

I'm in chicago, and I just got my concealed carry permit in the mail last friday. and getting that permit is a bytch.

not only did me and the wife both have to take 16 hours of gun classes out in the sticks on the weekend. the class cost around $400 for the both of us, and then it cost $150 each for a concealed carry permit. so that's a total of $700.

then once you apply for the permit it takes the state damn near 4 months to process it. (the law is that they have to issue it within 120 days). for me it took about 111 days.

man, my moms hates guns to the point where she wouldn't even let me have water guns as a kid if they were black.

that being said, my wife wasn't tryin to get a gun either, but eventually she changed her mind and she was the one that pushed for taking our concealed carry class as she did the research and signed us up for that shyt.

her concealed carry license didn't come yet cuz she signed up after me, and ran into an issue cuz her address on her driver's license wasn't up to date.

you out in the sticks. u should take ur old lady to the range. you even got a FOID card (since u in illinois)?

:dahell:Sounds like they don't want legal gun ownership. But much respect for you going through the process:salute:

The laws may vary, but with the classes I'm thinking I may be looking at $1000 and 2016:snoop:

Crazy shyt is, i think my wife has an FOID card.

Yeah, we out in the sticks lol. I know a Black dude here who target practices in what used to be a cornfield. We got a range in Macon, IL.

We, as Blacks, really need to bare arms, and when we get them, we need to really put an emphasis on target practice. A gun is no good if your're not well versed in it's use and abilities.

that's EXACTLY the point. they DON'T want you to be able to conceal carry or have guns, but they lost in the supreme court in 2013. Illinois was the last state in the US to not have any form of concealed carry until then.

therefore, they put a bunch of hurdles and tried to make it very cost prohibitive to get that permit. also, if you lose it, or need to change ur address, it cost a whopping $80 to make those changes.

and yeah, it's expensive. guns are expensive. ammo is expensive, the classes are expensive and time consuming. and the cost of the permit is expensive. so you best be ready to spend that bread.

but the feeling of being able to have a pistol on me or tucked in my seat next to me in the whip is priceless, and the police can't do jack shyt about it if they catch me with it :ucku:

thats one thing good about being in the country. you can shoot outside for free.

out here, there's no ranges within the city limits. nor can you buy ammo in city limits.
