I googled what it took for you to get a CC permit in NYC and good fukkin luck. You have to go through interviews with cops and shyt. Lots of hoops just to even purchase the pistol, let alone be able to CC in NYC.

In Michigan we have CPL’s, a CCW here means you caught a gun charge.

Got a 9mm Canik TP9 Elite SC from Turkey.

Use the 124 grain Federal hollow points. Recoil is very manageable and it's accurate out the box (CCI blazer brass for range ammo).

It's Texas so you don't "need" a CCL per se, but I got one anyway. Hella easy to get guns down here though. Went to a black-owned shop and the breh was very chill with a good selection.

I have a ruger sr-22. I love how compact it is, but I feel a 22 has no stopping power.
