I always heard Dilla did the Do For Love but that his beat got jacked, or at least recreated note for note, chop for chop, drum for drum.

Wasn't the only beat that happened to him for either.

I do know soulshock and karlin got credit for that track. But "do for love" sounds to quantize for dilla anyway. His drums which he known for are always off beat.
