when you have to be proficient in 4 programming/scripting languages in the future just to earn minimum wage
when the entire country is getting their paycheck from Jeff Bezos
when you can choose between clean drinking water rations or money as your form of payment

Billionaires are already talking about basic income going be a necessity in the future for the poor. Capitalism will collapse without a class of people that has disposable income on a regular basis
Amazon and Amazon locker is killing these fools and it’s on them for not adapting. No more having to deal with fukkboys UPS/FedEx/USPS. just go to a locker and know EXACTLY when my shyt is there, scan the QR code and the locker opens. That’s it.
So majority of the people gonna starve and turn America into a 3rd world nation?
Breh, I wish I had a solution. Your idea of a basic income is on the right track. Didn't Finland or some cac country come up with that shyt already?
Take your favorite pieces of clothing and measure them.
When you buy online, they have clothing measurements.
Generally most big retailers offer free returns and exchanges. Don't even have to go to the post office, UPS comes to your door and swoops the package from you.

Yall dismiss stuff like this, but Its gonna be bad for our grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Hell, its already getting bad for our kids. I got a 5 year old and anytime I see stuff like this it makes me think how hard its going to be for her to even find a part-time retail or fast food job 10 years from now.
When I was 16, I could easily find a job at the mall or McDonalds but with technology taking over all those types of jobs are being replaced with technology.

I can see a big scale down but not fully getting rid of box stores. So you’ll be ok with having to order one shirt or some shyt more than once just to get the right size? All clothes are not created equal

Ive been saying this..
my first job as a teen was Kmart....and what i valued the most was the interaction with the public and my coworkers....
It prevented me from becoming an introvert....
And gave young people a good option as opposed to working hard labor jobs...
More and more im seeing young teens working at factories and warehouses as temps for first jobs which is rough...
Retail was a safer and more simple way of breaking them into the workforce...
Young ladies and gents who should bw working at the GAP or GAMESTOP are now in hard labor long hour jobs which are intolerant of thier school schedules and family life
Its sad.....

Maybe I didn’t make myself clear or misunderstood the post... I absolutely think that America will outsource tech jobs.....
I thought the poster was implying that most Americans would be tech savvy enough to code in a few languages while understanding WAN technology... that ain’t happening.... so most definitely a lot of tech jobs will be outsourced for the cheap
