Statistically speaking, J Cole > Cam in every single category except charisma.

This the problem. There are two ways to look at things, the stats/numbers.... and then the "eye test", actually knowing ball. If you know ball, you already know that Cam is better.

J. Cole got a bunch of hollow stats because he played in a weak era while having zero classics, minimal social and cultural relevance and his biggest moment is an apology. He hasn't had a better career than Cam and he doesn't have a better catalogue of music than Cam.

J Cole has better verses, better guest verses, better albums, and a longer mainstream career. Cam had better interviews and outfits.

And I’m being 100% serious. Cam and Dipset are the most overrated products in rap history.

Billboard wise Cole is bigger than cam. Cam also can’t do an arena tour like Cole. Those aren’t the reason I pick Cole though, Cole is legitimately a better rapper.

I’m an old head like everyone else in this thread but I Refuse to overate Cam.

And as embarrassing as Cole has been lately he never got punched in the eye. He never had us waiting for that Hot summer, and he never asked us to get a shot of the pool in the back
:wow:

Skills?

Cam done had 3 different styles of rapping. Cole is one trick pony.

And that FPS song will never get played or performed ever again lol

Should have used a better song
Still went #1, had a great video, and better than anything by Cam in decades:umad:

In what world has cam had a better run and made better music than a nikka who has sold more records and received more critical acclaim? :dead:
Cam was legit the hottest guy in the streets for a while and Diplomats was a real movement. They even had a sound that is replicated till now. He was a cultural icon at the time, like the Iverson of rap. The pink stuff crossed over, as did Hey Ma and Oh Boy. (FPS aside, Cam's highest charting was #3 and Cole's was #4)

Cole was never more popular or ran the streets like Drake, and never had more acclaim than Kendrick. He was always the middle child. He mightve sold more but he never meant more.

If we're being honest, Keef made more of a mark in the same era than Cole did. I cant name more than five Cole songs.
