I don’t get the whole data nerds jealous because they can’t play angle.

Data is data and some people like mining it for advantages. It’s like the market rate, only need one to pay it to set the mark. It only took one guy to start digging in the crates and have it work for everyone to follow suit.

I agree, I would love a team to go the opposite route, a big frontline where 2 of your top 3 scorers are on the block/in the lane. Get every rebound and take higher % shots.

You mean the grind house Grizzlies? You work so hard for those 2 points and then the warriors would just hit back to back 3's.

You would get smoked ala OKC from 2017-2019 or Cleveland's Timofey Mosgov experiment.

Its a huge misconception that the extinction of the post game is due to big men being forced to shoot 3's.

It's because big men now have to GUARD against 3 point shooters on the perimeter so they have to have the foot speed to do so.

Having two slow, lumbering big men trying to guard a stretch 4 and 5 is suicide. You're trying to beat 3's with 2's...it doesn't work.

The 3 point shooter only has to hit 33% of his shots to match your 2 point shooter at 50%

This subforum should love DeRozan and LMA the way y'all talk

They both play like it's still the 90s yet they don't get any love on here.
Brehs mumble about wanting 90's ball back but then when they have to watch 90's ball in direct contrast to a modern offense they hit the:scust::hhh::picard:

Perfect example.
But you should also dominate the boards and have more second chance points/shot attempts.
OKC had a lot of injuries those years as well. And Westbrook was the focal point not some big.
I think a residual effect is a 3 hot streak can be a bit demoralizing to a team and they start panicking and playing out of character. It would take a talented group, I don't think we have seen that yet.
